Short version: we ask for your email address so we can deliver your eBook and help you if something goes wrong. We never see your card or UPI details, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

1. Who we are

This website sells the India Online Scam Survival Guide, a digital eBook. It is operated by Rafikul Sk, N0145, Office No. 04, Domohana, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal – 733215, India. You can reach us at contactus@shopnity.in or +91 79080 17427 (WhatsApp only).

2. What we collect

We keep this deliberately minimal. We collect:

We do not ask for your name, postal address, Aadhaar, PAN or any government identifier, and you should be suspicious of any site selling a ₹149 eBook that does.

3. What we never see

Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, netbanking password and OTP are entered inside our payment provider's own checkout window. That information goes directly to them and never reaches our servers. We could not store your card details even if we wanted to, and Indian rules prohibit merchants from doing so.

4. Why we collect it

We use the information above only to:

We do not use your email for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

5. Who else handles your data

Payments are processed by Razorpay, which has its own privacy policy covering how it handles your payment information. Our website is hosted by a third-party web host. Both of these process data on our behalf in order to run the service.

For advertising and measurement we use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). This is described in full under "Cookies and advertising" below.

6. How long we keep it

Your download record — email, phone and payment reference — is stored for about 37 days after purchase, then deleted automatically. Your download link itself stays valid for 7 days. Transaction records held by our payment provider, and any records we must retain for accounting or tax purposes, are kept for as long as the law requires.

7. How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS. The eBook file cannot be reached directly and is released only through a one-time download link issued after a verified payment. Our download records are stored outside the publicly reachable part of the website.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to contactus@shopnity.in from the email address you used at checkout and we will respond within a reasonable time. Note that deleting your record also cancels any download link still attached to it.

9. Cookies and advertising

We use a single functional session cookie so the site can remember that your payment succeeded while you are on the thank-you page.

We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure how well our advertising works and to improve it. This is an advertising and measurement tool, and it uses cookies.

The Meta Pixel tells Meta:

We do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number.

This data is handled under Meta's own privacy policy. You can control how your data is used for advertising in the "Ads" or "Ad preferences" settings of your Facebook or Instagram account, and you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings. Blocking these cookies does not affect your ability to buy or download the eBook.

10. Children

This eBook is sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the page itself.
