Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

Short version: you are buying one personal copy of a PDF. Read it, print it, share it with your family. Please do not resell it or post it publicly. It is educational material, not a guarantee that you will never be scammed.

1. Agreement

By purchasing or downloading the India Online Scam Survival Guide (the "eBook") from this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not purchase.

2. What you are buying

The eBook is a digital publication delivered as a PDF file. It is sold for informational and educational purposes. No physical item is shipped. Page counts, cover images and previews shown on the sales page are illustrative of the actual content.

3. How delivery works

After a successful payment you are taken to a thank-you page containing your personal download link. That link is valid for 7 days and allows up to 5 downloads. We recommend saving the PDF to your device on the first download.

If your link expires, stops working, or you lose it, email contactus@shopnity.in with your order reference and we will issue a new one at no charge. Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — it is almost always faster.

4. What you may and may not do with it

On payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use one copy of the eBook. You may:

You may not resell it, redistribute it, upload it to file-sharing or messaging groups, publish it on a website, or reproduce its content in your own material, in whole or in part, without our written permission.

5. Intellectual property

All text, structure, checklists, frameworks and graphics in the eBook are protected by copyright and remain our property. Unauthorised copying or distribution may result in legal action.

6. Payment

The price is shown in Indian Rupees on the sales page and at checkout, and is payable in full before delivery. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store your card or UPI credentials.

7. Refunds

This is a digital product delivered instantly, so sales are generally final. The narrow circumstances in which we do issue refunds are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. No guarantee of protection

This is important, so we will say it plainly. The eBook teaches you to recognise and avoid common scams. It cannot guarantee that you will never be targeted, never be deceived, or never lose money. Scam techniques change constantly. Nothing in the eBook is a promise of any particular outcome.

9. Not professional advice

The eBook is educational material. It is not legal, financial, banking or cybersecurity advice for your specific situation, and no client relationship is created by buying it. If you have suffered a loss, contact your bank immediately and report the incident to the 1930 cybercrime helpline or at cybercrime.gov.in. For legal questions, consult a qualified professional.

10. Accuracy and updates

We take care to keep helpline numbers, reporting procedures and scam patterns accurate at the time of writing, but these change. Always verify emergency contact details against the official source before relying on them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of the eBook is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including money lost to fraud. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to attempt to bypass payment, access the eBook file through means other than a valid download link, probe the site for vulnerabilities, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted here with a revised date. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

14. Governing law and grievances
